Big Pixel Zombies Instructions

Zombies! They are everywhere... and these are not just ordinary zombies. They are square shaped ones, I'm just not sure why or if this makes them scarier. Anyway, you need to keep them at bay with your firepower. You need to use the W, A, S, and D buttons for movement and use your mouse to take them down. Let's take a closer look at the game...

Big Pixel Zombies Walkthrough

While Big Pixel Zombies is not too different from your usual zombie games out there, it's still an excellent way to get that steam out during a hard day's work. In the game, you are stuck in some weird town where cube shaped zombies are stumbling in - all of them trying to get their hands on your and trying to kill you.

Handling them without any weapon is suicide. So to even things out a bit, there are 3 shops in the game where you can buy supplies: first off, we have the Guns shop, then the Kennels, and last BUT not the least, the Butchery. The gun shop is pretty much self explanatory. This is where you buy your main weapons and armor. The butchery, on the other hand, supplies meat. "BUT what for?" you might ask. Simple! You can use meat to serve as distraction for the zombies.

And what about the Kennels? Yes, kennels are for buying dogs. And no, these are not regular dogs by the way. These dogs have guns strapped on them, which means you get more firepower. To make things even sweeter, these sidekicks are invulnerable so you don't have to worry about refreshing their health, buying them supplies or what not. The town you are in is jam packed with vehicles - it can serve as shields, bottlenecks so you only have to face one zombie at a time, or if you destroy them, it can provide health!

Your main income comes from killing off the undead - kill more earn more so to speak. This is where the cash needed from the upgrade comes from. When you see a zombie running down the street, don't hesitate to blow it's head off and say: "Ka Ching!"

In this game, dying doesn't mean death, which sort of waters down the difficulty. There is a series of difficulty levels which marks your progress. When you die, you will respawn at the start of the last checkpoint. While your score is nullified, everything else - including your kills as well as your gears are kept intact. This makes it a little bit of a grind fest where you can just keep on dying, grabbing kills left and right until you have enough firepower to make it through. On the other hand, you can play to stay alive as long as you can and score as high as possible. Now that's something you can be proud of!

Summing it up, let's not sugar coat it - a lot of games before have done what Big Pixel Zombies did. And it can get a little tiring after an hour or so. HOWEVER, if you need some steam that needs blowing off, nothing beats killing zombies together with an armed canine!
