Desolation 2 Walkthrough

Desolation 2 is one heck of a zombie game. The graphics are incredible although the sacrifice there is the game can lag slightly on slower computers. It's clear a lot of time has gone into making this game look awesome at it worked. It is definitely one of the better looking zombie games online. It's also a treat to play. From the very beginning to the very end, this game challenges you to think. Combining the best parts of zombie games (gore and killing zombies) with the best parts of strategy games (using your noggin to solve the puzzle) this game offers something for everyone.

The most important thing to remember when playing Desolation 2 is to watch your map and do your best to remember where you are. It isn't hard to get lost, especially if you're not used to this type of game. This one isn't a typical online zombie game. You have to keep your wits about you. Your path isn't clearly marked and you have to do more than get from one side of the screen to the other. This game requires a little more thought. That's what makes it so unique and so intriguing. If you're looking for a challenge, this is definitely a game for you.

Desolation 2 requires you to pay attention, but that isn't hard to do with this game. It draws you in far more than usual zombie games. Instead of just wanting to kill zombies, you find yourself wanting to solve the puzzle. What exactly is going on? You want to keep playing to find out.

Pay attention to the backgrounds and make sure you check every area in every room you are able to check. Hidden throughout the levels you'll find clues, medic packs, ammo, new weapons and items you need to use to open doors, cut chains and progress in the game. Any items you find (aside from ammo and medic packs) will go into your inventory where it is stored until you need to use it. Think carefully. If you find chain cutters and a door is being blocked by chains, use your head. There are times, though, when the association won't be as clear so you might have to think a little harder.

Overall, Desolation 2 is an excellent game everyone should try at least once. If you're looking for one of the typical, shoot 'em up zombie games, you might want to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a challenging, engrossing game in which you get to kill zombies; this is a great choice.
