Endless Zombie Rampage Walkthrough

Endless Zombie Rampage is an entertaining and addictive zombie game that offers everything anyone could ever want in a zombie game. This game is really everything a zombie game should be. It's challenging, but doesn't feel impossible. It can be frustrating, but that only adds more to the enjoyment of the game. Newcomers are going to have a hard time with this one because you really need to have decent shooting skills if you want to survive in this game. More experienced zombie game players are definitely going to have an advantage here. Someone with more experience will have better shooting skills and will likely be familiar with what the typical zombie game requires and, as fun and entertaining as this game is, at its core, it really is just your typical zombie game. The premise is pretty standard fare for the genre. There are zombies everywhere and they want to eat you. Your goal is to make sure that doesn't happen. It sounds like a pretty easy goal and in the beginning, it can be. As you progress in the game, though, things get much more difficult and staying alive can pose a real challenge. That's what makes the game so addictive. In addition, this game just doesn't stick with the basics but goes above and beyond what many of the other games in the genre offer creating and intense and engrossing game any fan of the genre will adore.

When you first begin playing Endless Zombie Rampage you are given three options; defense mode, survival mode and experimental mode. Each different mode of game play is different and will appeal to a different type of player. The goal in defense and survival modes is the same. You need to protect yourself and you need to protect your base. The main difference between these two modes is that in defense mode, you have levels to beat while in survival mode, you're simply surviving as long as you can. Defense mode is great for players who like a more structured, traditional type of zombie game while survival mode is great for people just looking for a bloody free for all. Experimental mode is a different beast entirely. It's really just about racking up experience and shooting stuff. You get to try out your guns without the fear of being killed. If you want to take out a little aggression on hordes of computerized zombies, you can do so in this mode relatively stress free. You can also adjust the strength and spawn rate of the zombies that attack. This gives you a chance to see what guns work best on what types of zombies and what guns are most effective for dealing with large groups of zombies. This mode also offers great training grounds. You can build experience and get in a little practice before you're threatened with the possibility of death. You can choose from the standard 'wasd' controls for navigation or the arrow keys in this game, so experimental mode will give you the chance to figure out which control method will be easiest for you to use.

The upgrades and power ups in Endless Zombie Rampage are absolutely vital to making it through the game. You can purchase upgrades and power ups by using the experience points you earn as you play the game. There are twenty two weapons in total you can choose to purchase and you'll need those more advanced weapons later in the game when more, stronger zombies start approaching. It's important to not just pay attention to how much damage a weapon delivers and its cost, though. You also need to look at its capacity. Ideally, a weapon will deliver a fair amount of damage to your enemies but will also have a high capacity. A higher capacity means you will have to reload less often. Reloading takes time. If you're being attacked by a large group of zombies, you don't want to have to waste a lot of time reloading. If you have to choose between a weapon that will deliver a lot of damage and a weapon that has a high capacity, choose the high capacity weapon. To view a weapon's stats, hover your mouse over that weapon without clicking it. Look to the bottom right box in the upgrade screen. You'll see all the information you need to make a smart decision.

Powerups are an important part of Endless Zombie Rampage that many fans of zombie games choose to ignore in favor of purchasing weapons, but that couldn't be a bigger mistake. You need power ups if you want to get a decent score in this game. There are many excellent power ups available. The 'Marathon Man' power up allows you to run faster. This is useful when trying to evade zombies. In many cases, you'll need to be able to get a fair bit of distance between you and a group of zombies before you can begin shooting them. 'Marathon man' will give you that distance more quickly allowing you to take those zombies out more quickly. This will save you hit points on your base. The 'Overkill' and 'Bloodlust' power ups are great for building more experience points so you can purchase more power ups and weapons more quickly but in reality, it's better to focus on the power ups that offer more immediate benefits and help you survive longer in the game first such as 'Marathon Man', 'Extended Magazines' (extends the capacity of all of your weapons by 30%), 'Speed Loader' (allows you to reload more quickly) and 'Hollow Points' (increases the damage inflicted by your bullets by 10%).

In addition to power ups and upgrades, Endless Zombie Rampage also allows you to increase your maximum health and the maximum health of your base. For newcomers struggling with getting the hang of how the game is played, it's a good idea to focus on these areas first. You'll find these options on the upgrade screen on the 'power ups' tab. Both of these upgrades are fairly inexpensive but are definitely beneficial to the struggling player. You can also upgrade your maximum health and the maximum health of your base multiple times. The benefits of upgrading these things is pretty obvious - you'll be able to take more damage from attacking zombies before you die and so will your base which will help your game last much longer. While getting the power ups for running, reloading and bullet damage is important, they won't be of much use if you run out of health.

The best way to do well in Endless Zombie Rampage is to focus on getting the upgrades you need and staying ahead of the zombies. You can sacrifice a bit of your base's health if it means getting behind the zombies. If you base just doesn't have the health to spare, get a little closer to the zombies and use your sweet, sweet brain as zombie bait. If you're quick enough, you'll be able to draw the zombies away from your base and take them out taking minimal - or no - damage to your health. It's also important to look at how you use your upgrades. If you purchase the Desert Eagle gun and the 'Overkill' and 'Bloodlust' power ups you'll be able to rack up serious experience points quickly. Finally, take advantage of experimental mode. You'll appreciate the practice and experience using the different guns.

Overall, Endless Zombie Rampage is one heck of a zombie game. It offers something for everyone and is pretty much everyone anyone could ever ask for in a zombie game. It's challenging, it's bloody and there are lots of weapons you can choose from. The graphics are incredible but this definitely isn't a game for those with weak stomachs. After a certain point, it can be almost difficult to see new zombies approaching because of all the carnage on the ground. For real zombie game fans, though, that shouldn't be a problem at all. This is a great game for any fan of the genre regardless of skill or experience level. Newcomers that are struggling with survival or defense mode can take a little time in experimental mode to hone their skills before tackling the more high intensity levels again. Meanwhile, more experienced players are going to love the graphics, the weapons and the genuine challenge the game offers. All in all and excellent zombie game no fan of the genre should miss.
